Scatt - For Air Sac Mites 50ml

Scatt kills air sac mites and scaly mites safely and effectively. 3 week residual effect means one treatment is usually all it takes.

Active ingredient: moxidectine.

Common symptoms of Air Sac Mites may include, but are not limited to

Open mouth breathing, which has a characteristic clicking sound

coughing

nasal discharge

tail bobbing

weakness

weight loss

Treatments:

Scaly Face: Apply in a single application 1 to 2 drops depending on the size of the bird (1 drop per 30g body weight), to the bare skin between the shoulders. Treat all birds, re-assess in 21 days and re-treat if necessary. It may take up to six weeks for effects of the treatment to become noticeable.

Air Sac Mite: (mainly Canaries & Finches) Apply in a single application 1 to 2 drops depending on the size of the bird (1 drop per 30g body weight), to the bare skin between the shoulders. For best results ensure re-treatment is carried out 3 to 4 times per year.
